2020 is a unique year due to many circumstances. A pandemic, economic instability, and an election year all in one. As a result, many cases of antisemitism are up compared to previous years. Cases of antisemitism have not hit this high since 1979. Due to the Coronavirus, people of Jewish descent have been the target of hate speech, violent crime, and conspiracy theories.
